Neo Brutalism

Between the proliferation of generative art and SaaS website clones, I wanted something that could be shaped to reflect my personality or quirks in some way. Frontend isn't my favorite part of coding, and ironically if it wasn't for AI coding agents, I probably wouldn't have attempted it.

Neo Brutalism is a design trend that emerged in the 2020s as a reaction against the minimalist and flat design trends of the 2010s. It is characterized by its bold typography, high-contrast color schemes, and raw, unfinished aesthetic.

To me, it seems playful. This first iteration feels like I've played it too safe but I also wanted to ship quickly instead of obsessing over every tiny detail. I also don't have the time to create custom illustrations or play around with different javascript libraries. But I can add on as I go.
